  Tolerant couple doing a first review Table 18 Sunday 11th December 10.45 am . Stopped on the way to Bournemouth for light breakfast, had to ask for order to taken .waitress did not know if the toast was 1 slice or two as menu did not say.Got coffee quickly but no toast for half an hour and we had to ask where it was.The response was we are busy with lots of orders we explained it would have been nice to be told before ordering.Three times we were asked if all was ok and three times we said no and explained why ?? no one offered any apologies .Upon checking out late for our trip was asked was everything ok ,said no ? the answer was well that will be £11.50 ! -good bye.At this price (dearer than a well known Hotel Chain) for two very small rounds of toast pre buttered and coffee- best to avoid .

  Probably the best Fish and Chips around. Slightly more on price,but well worth it. This is restaurant style fish and chips, not your average chippy. the The Cod Fillet beautifully cooked,with light crispy batter and proper chunky chips; the tartare sauce, i'm guessing homemade, was creamy and a perfect compliment to the fish. As a keen home chef, with catering experience i'm usually quite critical about food, being a perfectionist myself, and this was just a takeaway! It must be even better hot, than a bit cooler by the time i got home. I'll eat there next time. Lol Now in my Fish and Chips all time Top Ten. :-)

  Really lovely fish and chips, friendly efficient service, excellent play facilities for children, an all-round great meal on the way home from a day trip. We will definitely be going back, loved it.
